His book Anatomy of Greed is the true story of how one young man, fresh out of b-school and lusting for corporate wealth and power, discovered that there was more to life than stock options. Film rights in this astonishing story have been sold to CBS with Robert Greenwald producing and Penelope Spheeris directing.
Christian Kane of "Angel" and "Life or Something Like it" plays Brian Cruver: Tony & Golden Globe winner Brian Dennehy plays Mr. Blue, who in both the book and the movie represents a compilation of several real-life top-level Enron execs. Mike Farrell of "M*A*S*H" and "Providence" plays Kenneth Lay, and Shannon Elizabeth of "Scary Movie" and "American Pie 2" plays Brian Cruver's wife.
The movie is directed by Penelope Spheeris ("Wayne's World") and written by "Liar, Liar" co-writer Stephen Mazur. Robert Greenwald ("Steal This Movie", "Outfoxed") and Alys Shanti ("Redeemer") are the executive producers for Robert Greenwald Productions.
